SCHOOLING

The Poetry Distillery is pleased to present a collection of poems on the theme of school. For this issue, the first in an ongoing series of e-chapbooks, we asked you to write about your most indelible learning experiences.

We selected eight poems from seven poets that illustrate how schooling can not only be found in the classroom or ocean, but also in a pair of Ray Bans, a hippie-bride, a father-teacher, a kick boxer, a stork, and one unlucky chicken.

As you engage with the work, we hope you’ll allow your own stories to bubble up, breathe into, and inhabit the spaces in-between.
